ROT Rally

Anyone interested in going to the ROT Rally as a group? Get rooms in the same hotel and make some Hill Country riding time?

Let me check if I can get the Friday and Monday off. It's our busy time of the year and time off is scarce.
Stand by.

It now looks like I won't be heading off to Arizona until the end of the year at the earliest. I'll have to see what my work conditions would be like and if I can get the time off, but I'd love to head down there again.

ROT Rally

Post  old-corps on Mon Jan 21, 2008 7:56 pm

I am not particularly interested in attending the rally its' self, however for those interested I will be more than happy to set up a ride down the back way is a good ride. I did this a couple years ago when we had a meeting in Round Rock. If we plan this the lodging any where around Austin gets very scarce the closer we get. As I remember it's the first weekend in June.

Maybe we should just plan a weekend ride to Austin and around the hill country and back. Possibly leave on Friday evening for arrival and ride around on Saturday. Then we could run back on Sunday. I enjoyed the wineries/beer in Groene the last time I was down that way. It doesn't have to be ROT weekend, but I would suggest waiting until it's warmer for some of our members.
